Per SportBild, Spurs are rivalling RB Leipzig when it comes to interest in appointing Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner. The Bundesliga giants are said to have him on their own shortlist to replace the sacked Marco Rose. But now Spurs have been presented as an alternative option for the Eagles manager.

Glasner is not said to be keen on a return to Germany, having previously worked for Wolfsburg and Eintracht Frankfurt, and Spurs could offer a significantly higher salary than the Bundesliga side. The north London side face Eintracht Frankfurt in the first leg of their Europa League quarter-final on Thursday but they languish in 14th in the Premier League table, and have lost 16 of their 31 fixtures.

Glasner shot to prominence during his time at Frankfurt, as he guided the club to Europa League glory in 2021/22. His Palace side are 11th, six points clear of Spurs. The report states the north London club are not the only suitor to have made contact with the Austrian's camp.
