Gyokeres scored 54 goals in 52 games last season and has been the Gunners’ top striker target all throughout the summer. Arsenal struggled for goals from a reliable No. 9 in 2024-25 due to injuries to Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz, and Arteta has been keen to boost his firepower after finishing second in the Premier League for the third-straight season.
